I'd like to run Sunshot in nightfalls but doing that pretty much f*cks me unless I put a primary ammo weapon in my kinetic slot and gimp myself or get one of the seasonal mods that pushes me into a different subclass than I feel like playing. But when I get to the box while not actually doing the forge event there's no prompt and no way to interact with it at all? If I try and jump across to that cave while doing the forge event, it just teleports me back to the party Allow me to help with this if you haven't already figured it out. Most of the Izanagi's guides are not entirely up to date since they were put together shortly after release of Black Armory and not followed up on. I just completed the quest myself so hopefully I can enumerate the big differences: Let's start with the big one: The Forges no longer need to be unlocked, they are on a daily rotating schedule. Just go to EDZ map and look to the left to see what forge is running that day and do a max temper ignition, but before you do that first Forge Ignition, get your bounties. Get the bounties for Black Armory. Do the bounties every time in order to get your Rare Bounty. Ignore the bullsh*t about opening them all at once. Just do all the bounties, and successfully complete ignitions. (Pray you don't the forge a set of BA armor, but if you do, prepare to do a lot of Black Armory for 2 weeks. You can also break down extra guns/bad rolls for parts to get a guaranteed armor drop after a successful Forge Ignition) This shouldn't be too big of a pain as hopefully you're working towards unlocking the all the frames for Jotun anyway. You will need to do a Forge Ignition with maximum temper in every forge save Bergusia. Shoot the little drones to get the max temper and at the end of the Forge Ignition, a black cube like the one you pull weapon cores from will drop next to the forge. When you interact with that cube it will drop the key you need from that forge. If you do not get max temper or you do not interact with the cube, you will need to do another Forge Ignition. Once you have all the keys: Complete your Rare Bounty Complete Shattered Throne Do the QUEST VERSION of the Pyrmidion. Not the strike, nor the nightfall if it's available. Do the Quest on IO. Return to Ada-1 and bingo bango you got your gun. Now off to Heroic Menag-a-toi for the catalyst and 20% damage buff. Hopefully this helps you out. The big mistake was just have a challenge that required everyone to get heavy ammo at some point when its very difficult to do that. | Sunkos, you should really take a break. I know its against the current of this weird hate vortex going on but I'm twabbing pretty hard. OEM is being changed to exactly what it should've been the first time they tried to nerf it. CH damage reduction is cool and good Most of these exotic changes are good and cool. I like the finishers this season More access to pinnacles hopefully better spikier rolls for legendaries More armor sets (faction armor) into random loot drops, yay Sword rework is like 8/10 of what it should be. Just lol just f*ckcing lol that they clearly didn't even think about a powercap for Trials until literally the entire internet screamed in their face about it Digging this direction right now except for the seasonal armor if you're a titan. |
