College baseball's NCAA tournament bracket was revealed on Monday, and the SEC was well represented.

The conference made history, in fact, with a record-11 of its teams earning a bid — the most by any conference ever. Five of those teams are regional hosts, which is a feat in itself.

NCAA baseball tournament bracket 2024

Like its softball counterpart, college baseball begins with a regional round comprising 16 regional sites of four teams each. The four teams are seeded 1-4, with the top seed being one of the top 16 national seeds. The top seed of a given region plays the No. 4 seed, while seed Nos. 2 and 3 play each other in the opening round.

From there, each of the four teams play in a double-elimination format, with the 16 regional champions then advancing to the Super Regionals, hosted at the site of the higher-ranked team. The eight super regional champions then advance to the College World Series, which begins with two brackets comprising four teams each competing in a double-elimination format.
