JOIN OUR HOME HEALTH PROGRAM

Are you passionate about providing skilled services to patients in the comfort of their own homes? Join us at Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri, a non-profit organization delivering essential healthcare services to individuals in need.

Work Responsibilities

  • Assess symptoms and treatment responses
  • Educate patients and caregivers on self-care practices
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Provide wound management and ostomy care
  • Communicate changes in patient health to physicians

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

  • Compensation based on visits
  • Mileage reimbursem*nt or company car provided
  • On-call rotation required
  • Availability needed from 8am to 4:30pm daily
  • Driving up to 45 miles may be necessary

TRAINING PROVIDED

  • 30-day training period covering policies and procedures
  • Hands-on training for using handheld devices during patient visits

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • At least one year of home health or nursing experience
  • Missouri nursing license
  • Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
  • Successful completion of screenings and checks
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
