A UDFA with zero snaps played, zero tackles, zero nada last year? What are you guys seeing? Whats the rationale for the Clark drumbeat? I’m missing something … welcome lessons, its why I’m here …
Tito was ok - spotty - after he came back from injury. Flashed some good plays, got blown out on some plays - pretty up and down. He too is still developing but at least Ive seen him play against NFL players. I haven’t seen Clark do that, other than PS scrubs.
Didnt say Clark would start...he would be in rotation...Tito another year removed from a nasty injury to come back from, and coached up...Poona a seasoned, solid vet. Rotation. Sum of the parts. Clark shows promise, in college and camp last year. They all three play the heavy DT, or NT, and would rotate. So we have depth there...Im more worried about the other DT position, 3tech...but...who knows how the dline will be run under Minter.
The TPB makes plans....And Jim Harbaugh laughs...
Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

The rotation might be a little different.
Tito as NT #1.
poona as DT#1.Ben Herbert mentioned Chris Hinton yesterday.
CH Is young (23 YO)
Still growing.
He's a former Wolverine.
Actually played pretty well last year.
Who knows what Tito, Matlock, Okoye
the "humongous" Clark
have got for us.We do not play modern football.

Still wouldnt mind adding a penetrator to the toolbox...big Matlock fan, but might not be ready yet...though if he has the makings, Harbaugh and Co. will get him sorted out.

This is going to be a fun year to watch - excited to see what this coaching staff does, what Herbert does as trainer with fitness and finally how hortiz does building the roster
good times ahead

Kirby Smart laughed and said, “We couldn’t cover him either!!”
Middlekauff said Bowers will catch 88 balls for a grand and 10 TDs his rookie season.Palmer is good! He's a low and number 2 when healthy with potential to be a high end number 2. That's really good. But it's not a number one and this team also doesn't have a viable number 3 at the moment.
But let's look past all the injury concerns and even questions about his play and assume he plays like a high end number 2 this season... He's a FA at the end of the year. That will cost $18-22 million a season.

I still think they will take a DT early in the draft. They are going to build a run wall on the d-line. They want to have depth there. There are 3-4 guys that would be good fits. Jenkins, Fiske, Newton, and Murphy would all be good choices.
1- #11 Bowers TE 7a- #225 Boyd DT
2a- #35 Cooper LB 7b- #253 Vidal RB
2b- #37 Jenkins DT
3a- #66 Puni OT
3b- #69 Sainristill CB
4a- #105 Rice WR
4b- #110 Lloyd RB
5- #140 Green CB
6- #181 Nourzad C/OG👍3

If we miss out on DT day1/2, addressing other needs, I have been mocking DeWayne Carter alot in the 4th...outstanding character and work ethic, by all accounts, ready for some elite pro training/coaching...

Field Yates latest 2 round mock has us trading back with the Vikings and taking:
2024 NFL mock draft: Yates' pick predictions for Rounds 1-2 - ESPN
11. Los Angeles Chargers (via mock trade with MIN)
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Following the projected move down, the Chargers can now get to work building this roster how new coach Jim Harbaugh and GM Joe Hortiz envision it -- which I expect will be through the trenches. Though the Chargers have Trey Pipkins III under contract for another two seasons, Latham would represent a short- and long-term upgrade. And he has the positional versatility to play guard if Los Angeles wanted to keep Pipkins on the field. Latham's overwhelming strength is a perfect fit for a team that will want to wear opponents out with its physicality.23. Los Angeles Chargers (via CLE/HOU and mock trade with MIN)
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
There is a plausible scenario in which the Chargers stand pat at No. 5 and take the best wide receiver available. After releasing Mike Williams and trading Keenan Allen, they have to reshape their wide receiver room. But here Los Angeles can stockpile picks and still take advantage of a deep receiver class, landing a buttery smooth route runner in Mitchell. He has excellent size, great speed and reliable hands, with just one drop in his lone season at Texas (he transferred from Georgia). He also averaged 15.4 yards per catch last season and would be a good fit with quarterback Justin Herbert.
37. Los Angeles Chargers
Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that new coach Jim Harbaugh wants to build up his offensive line aggressively this offseason. Frazier is super tough and exactly the type of guy Harbaugh and GM Joe Hortiz would covet. He did not allow any sacks over 328 pass-block plays in 2023.

JC Latham is a stud. Harbaugh type.
Power to move bodies
plays with great anchor and body control
I recently heard a comp to my OT crush Christian Darrisaw and think it's spot on. RT version of Darrisaw.JCL > Fuaga
G-Ro knows.

I'm hoping they have the opportunity to get #11, #23 at minimum.
#11 Fuaga
#23 Mitchell or Powers if still there then take
Sweat or Newton at #37.....Beef on both sides and possibly a very good reciever😁👍1

You’ve been right in the past on guys that I didn’t see any there there. Never discount the possibility I’m just wrong
. He’s sitting on their reserved list, he’ll need to get on the roster as step 1 and take it from there …
No hard feelings on the Alt questions - they honestly were questions but it’s ok. I’d put odds they pick him at 30%, 30% on MH2, 40% they trade down and draft neither. They WILL draft OL, I just dont know what pick.
