J. Love, died Sunday, (Dec. 13, 1998) at Seabury. She was born on Darlings Island, Nauwigewauk, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late James and Lillian (Purvis) Henderson, and had lived in Hartford for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement, Florence worked for Sage-Allen Inc.

for over 25 years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Hartford, a member of the Seniors Club of the Church, and was actively involved with various other church groups. She was a member of the South End Senior Citzens and was an active member of the Republican Party and at election time worked at the voting booths at Naylor School. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce L.

and Eddie Chappell of Waterford, and Hope L. and Mike Glover of Mooresville, NC; a sister, Laura Henderson of Hampton, New Brunswick; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and Melissa Chappell and Michael and Marc Glover; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Thomas Glover and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 16, 12 p.m., at St. James Episcopal Church, 75 Zion Street, Hartford, with the Rev.

James Episcopal Church, 75 Zion Hartford, CT 06106. MILANESE, Loretta (Furphey) Loretta (Furphey) Milanese, 98, of Grove Street, Rockville, widow of Carlo Milanese, died Sunday (Dec. 13) at home. She was born in Rockville and was a lifelong resident. Mrs.

Milanese was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church, and was active in the CYO. She was a gold star mother, having lost her eldest son, Clarence, in World War II, and was named Woman of the Year from Rockville many years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Delores Milanese of Rockville; her son, Robert Milanese of New York; her brother, John Furphey of Ellington; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Clarence Milanese, Carleton "Bebe" Milanese; and her sisters, Margaret Whitney and Alice Foley.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 9 a.m., from the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Rockville, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., in St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

NOSECK, Jeanette (Connor) Jeanette (Connor) Noseck, 78, wid Raymond J. Jarvis, 63, husband of Kathryn (Higgins) Jarvis of' South Windsor, died Sunday (Dec. 13, 1998) at home. Born in East Windsor, son of the late Henry A.

and Anastasia (Raulukaitis) Jarvis, he had lived in South Windsor for most of his life. He graduated from Ellsworth High School and served in the U.S. Army. Prior to his recent retirement, he was employed for 39 years at International Fuel Cells of South Windsor. He was an assistant Scout Leader for Boy Scout Troop 880 for many years.

He was a member of the South Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, and a former member of the Rescue Squad. He was a communicant of St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lauralee Ann Jarvis of Los Angeles, CA; and three sons, Raymond, Jr. of South Windsor, Samuel of Rockville, and Joseph of Middletown and his fiancee, Shelley Durocher.

He also leaves three sisters, Elaine Martocchio of South Windsor, Theresa Garbich of East Hartford, and Bertha Sanzarro and her husband, Vincent of East Hampton. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry Jarvis. He also leaves many very special nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and also his faithful companion, Bomber. H.C. Johnson, 60, of Tolland, husband of Carol Piacenta, died Sunday (Dec. 13, 1998) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born March 21, 1938 in Georgia, son of the late H.C. and Annie Johnson, and was a Tolland resident for 14 years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children from a previous marriage, Julie Marie and Jason Hilton Johnson, both of Augusta, GA; his five step-children, Joseph and Kristy (Isleib) McAvoy of Enfield, Mary (McAvoy) and Mark Za-leski of Coventry, Carl "Bill" and Lynne (Duffield) McAvoy of Willing-ton, Deborah (McAvoy) and Michael Secondo of Tolland, Leonard Piacenta of Tolland; his five wonderful granddaughters that could do no wrong, Lauryn and Kaylee McAvoy, Erin McAvoy Zaleski, Leanne Marie and Mary Louise Secondo. He loved his babies and learned to be a very good baby-sitter. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Neuroth; a sister-in-law, Nancy Thurston; a nephew, Jason McCormick, all of Newport News, VA. Jorgensen, died Sunday (Dec. 13, 1998) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Born in Saco, ME, daughter of the late Thomas and Isabella Gillespie, she had lived in East Hartford over 30 years. Before retiring, she had been employed by Aetna Life Insurance Co.

MALONEY, Edwin John Sr. Edwin John Maloney, of Haines City, FL, formerly of West Hartford, died Friday (Dec. 11, 1998) in Florida.

Born in Hartford, June 2, 1928, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Maloney and Anna Foley Maloney. He was raised in West Hartford, where he was a graduate of Hall High School. Mr. Maloney was the former president of Thomas Trant Brother Plumbing Supply of Hartford.

Mr. Maloney was a member of Council 3884 of the Knights of Columbus from 1954 to 1975, where he reached the level of Grand Knight. Mr. Maloney was also a former president of the West Hartford Boys Football League. He had been a resident of Florida for the past six years, living in retirement.

Mr. Maloney is survived by seven children, Edwin J. Maloney Patricia L. Hauserman, Michael W. Maloney, Dennis P.

Maloney, Terry R. Maloney, Cathy A. Bass, Kevin T. Maloney; and their mother, Mary Louise Maloney; along with six grandchildren, Jacqueline B. Maloney, Amanda R.

A Memorial Mass will be Friday, Dec. 18, 10 a.m., at St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 872 Farmington West Hartford. Arrangements for the burial will be made at the family's John R. Keilty, 76, of Burton Street Watertown, husband ot 1 Annette (LeMay) Keilty died Saturday (Dec.

12. 1998) at St. Mary's Hospital in Watebury. Mr Keilty was born in Watertown Feb. 4, 1922, son of the late Frederick and Sarah (Bryan) Keilty.

He was a lifelong resident of Watertown. He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy from 1940-1947. After his retirement from Connecticut Light Power, he was the business manager for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 420, and retired in 1988 as International Representative for the IBEW. He served the towns of Oakville and Watertown as State Representative for 12 years, from 1958 until 1970.

During that time, he served as Assistant Majority Leader. In 1967, he was a representative to the Connecticut Constitutional Convention. He was a member of the Democratic Town Committee and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was a veteran member of the Watertown Fire Department.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, No. 5157, and the Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife of 53 years, he leaves four daughters, Annette Longhi of Watertown, Margaret Keilty of Sharon, Mrs. Nicholas Czar Jr. of Litchfield, and Theresa Kmetetz of Middletown; two brothers, Richard Keilty of New Port Richie, FL and Thomas Keilty of Glendora, CA; two sisters, Verna Rowe of Largo, FL and Rose Sutter of Burlington, VT; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

McCLELLAND, Patricia (Hunter) Patricia (Hunter) McClelland, 57, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of Russell W. McClelland, died Saturday (Dec. 12, 1998) at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Hartford, daughter of Shirley (Hauschulz) Hunter, of East Hartford and the late Richard G. Hunter she had lived in Wethersfield for the past 20 years.

Pat was employed as the financial secretary at the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Wethersfield. She was a member and past Matron of Wethersfield Chapter No. 97 O.E.S. and Aisha Temple No. 83, Daughters of the Nile and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wethersfield.

She was the wife of the late Harold Bacon Daughn. She was born in New Britain, and lived in Wethers- field most of her life. She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sarah Daughn of Providence, Rl, Myles and Sylvia Daughn of Wethersfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Paul Carr of Rocky Hill; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Born in Grotto Minardo, province of Avel-lino, Italy, he was the son of the late Peter and Carpina (Penta) DeFronzo, and lived in West Hartford for most of his life. He retired in 1979 as operations manager from Lydall, Hartford, after 50 years of service. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Peter M. DeFronzo of West Hartford and a daughter, Lucille M. DeFronzo of West Hartford.

Hazel C. Green, 98, formerly of North Maple Street, Enfield, died Saturday (Dec. 12, 1998) at a local nursing home. Born in Hazardville, Hazel resided there all of her life. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star, and a member of St.

Mary's Episcopal Church of Enfield. Among her surviving relatives are two daughters, Ruth Bridge of Enfield, Edith Rostek and her husband, Thomas of Enfield; five grandchildren, Nancy Bridge, Marsha McCormick and her husband, Joe, Barbara Rostek, Jann Rankin and her husband, Thomas, Paul Rostek and his wife, Kim; six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Elston Green, in 1968. DEATH NOTICES BOUFFARD, Lucille M. (Bertrand) Lucille M. (Bertrand) Bouffard, 80, of Old Parish Drive, South Windsor, died Sunday (Dec. 13, in her sleep at home. Born in Biddeford, ME, she lived in South Windsor 36 years, where she was secretary for her husband's building business, J.M.

Bouffard, Inc. for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, South Windsor, and enjoyed macrame and needlepoint. She was an avid reader.

She leaves her beloved husband of 57 years, Joseph M. Bouffard; a daughter, Carole Lee; grandsons, Gary and his wife, Leslie Lee and Kenneth Lee; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Chelsea Lee, all of South Windsor; a sister, Aurore Migner of Enfield; and a sister-in-law, Diana Bertrand of Biddeford, ME. She was predeceased by a grandson, Robert Lee. CALLAHAN, William "Willie" Charles William "Willie" Charles Callahan, 91, of Hartford, departed this life peacefully, Friday (Dec. 11, 1998) at Kimberly Hall in Windsor.

Born in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Charles and Isobel Callahan, he lived most of his life in Hartford. Before retirement, he was an employee of Pratt Whitney and the George A. Fuller Construction Co. As a young man, Willie's first love was boxing. He fought in 200-odd fights as a respectable under-card boxer in the 1920's and 30's.

He also played dozens of bit parts in Hollywood movies during the 1930's doubling for the former heavyweight champion, Jack Demp-sey in the 1937 film "Big He is survived by two sons and two daughters, William Callahan Jr. of New Britain, John Callahan of West Hartford, Kathieen Knox and Sherry Stamboni, both of Wethersfield; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Born in Westerly, Rl, son of the late Vito and Car-mella (Semitaro) Congelosi, he had lived in Hartford before moving to East Granby in 1963. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Smalley Bros. Post No. 6123-VFW and Gensi-Viola Post No. 36-American Legion, both of Windsor Locks.

He was employed at the Continental Baking Co. (Wonder Bread) for 28 years, retiring in 1981 and was a member of the Bakery and Confectionery Union. He was predeceased by a brother, Steven Congelos and a sister, Virginia Muley. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home. Miller OS DEATH NOTICES COMBS, Barbara "Bobbie" Clark Barbara "Bobbie" Clark Combs, died after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on (Dec. 12, 1998). She and her late Richard, were Innkeepers at The INN. on Lake Waramaug in New Preston' for 35 years until 1986.

Bobbie Combs was a resident of Warren and Pompano Beach, FL. She was born in Van Wert, OH, and graduated from Den-sion University, where she was part of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. After attending Tobe Coburn in New York City, Bobbie worked in retail until she and her husband purchased The INN on Lake Wararmaug in 1951. They built their business into one of Connecticut's best country inns. As a member of the Connecticut tourism industry, she helped create the Litchfield Hills Travel Council and served on the Governor's Tourism Task Force and the Connecticut 350 Bicentennial Commission.

Her long-term interest in Lake Waramaug led to her membership in the Lake Waramaug Association, and she was a member of the Lake Waramaug Authority. Bobbie Combs moved to Pompano Beach in 1987, where she continued her activities with the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as her lifetime interest in golf. This past year, she served as the President of the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association at the Tarn O'Shanter Golf Club. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach and the Warren Congregational Church. She is survived by her three children, Cindy Kolosky of New Hartford, Jay Combs of Torrington, and Christopher Combs of Simsbury; their spouses, Dominic, Colleen and Cindy; her grandchildren, Jerrick, Meghan, Richard, Drew and Kristen; and her sister, Dorothy Dickinson of Alexandria, VA.

Bobbie also maintained a 32-year relationship with her "Afghan Mohammed Nairn Dindar of Kabul, Afghanistan, who was an American Field Service student with the Combs family in 1966. Donations may be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church, 2331 NE 26 Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Memorial services will be scheduled at both churches later this month. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making donations in her memory to the American Heart Association. GOLD, Herbert, M.D. Herbert Gold, M.D., of Beacon Hill Drive, West Hartford, died Sunday (Dec. 13, 1998) at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Evelyn (Lamson) Gold. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Tillie (Schneider) Gold of West Hartford and the late William Phillip Gold.

He graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. degree, and he completed his medical studies at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967. Dr.

Gold concluded his training in ophthalmology at S.U.N.Y., Down-state Medical Center and affiliate hospitals. He was an ophthalmologist in private practice in Hartford for 30 years. He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Beth El Temple of West Hartford, Tumble Brook Country Club of Bloomfield, and the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center. Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Attorney Gerri A. Gold of New York, NY; two sons.

Attorney Marc E. Gold of New York, NY, and Bruce A. Gold of West Hartford; and a special friend, Judith Lahrheim. Funeral services will be TODAY, 1 p.m., in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Hartford, with interment in Beth El Temple Cemetery, Avon.
